Hello, libraries!

You may be contacting me now because I illustrated the 2012 “Dream Big—READ!” materials for the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP).
I have had a large increase in requests to visit libraries during Summer 2012 as a result. I’m happy to talk with you about visiting your library, but need to let you know:

• I live in Massachusetts. So if you’re far enough from me to necessitate plane travel, please take flight and lodgings costs into account,
as well as the honorarium, before contacting me.

• When I need to travel, I try to find additional speaking opportunities where I’ll be visiting. A single day on the West Coast actually involves three days
of my time. If you know of schools or other opportunities near you which may also be interested in a visit, it makes it more likely that I can accommodate your request.

If you wish to contact me, please e-mail me at:

NOTE: before you send your message, make sure to change
the “AT” in the address line to the symbol “ @” (type shift-2).
Otherwise, your message will be returned as undeliverable.
